The Kratos Supra is an X-Ray Photoelectron Spectrometer (XPS) that can provide highly accurate and fast acquisition of data for elemental analysis and elemental mapping of material surfaces.
It is often used across a variety of fields of study including natural resources, material science, civil, chemical and mechanical engineering. Typical applications include corrosion studies, material identification and classification as well as contamination identification.
Specifications: Magnetic immersion lens provides apparent high sensitivity on small areas. Charge neutralization system using a standard Mg/Al or a Al/Ag monochromatic source allows high resolution spectra (down to 1um) to be obtained from insulating materials such as polymers.
Operates at 10-9 Torr with imaging down to the 15 µm level.
